Worldly Things Are So Transient

Oh! These worldly things Are so transient What we see today Turns into the past so quickly! The Dahlia bloom of my garden That I was adoring in the last winter Wilted and faded Now it is only a photo I clicked on my mobile phone. Oh! These worldly things Are so transient! How soon I grew up From my childhood And now at the brink of old age! I only remember The fun and frolics I had with my playmates. Oh! These worldly things Are so transient! We are all but footprints On the sands of time Soon to be wiped out By the blowing wind. Oh! The time is too transient It seems so harsh When it engulfs Many people and relatives Who were once part of our life. The earth rotates on its orbit Taking people and things with it Birth and death are only constant Nothing is permanent Oh! This life is so transient!
