Heaven Above, Heaven Below!

Heaven, you say, and where would that be?
It must be wide, it must be far,
out beyond the very last star?
How valuable is a friend, gone away?
Would it be nicer, if HERE they did stay?
God is not far, never did She/He make distance,
Heaven is within and there the Divine residence!
That means inside of me is ALL that is Holy!
Inside of you is ALL that, and me too!
Heaven is here, heaven is now,
open your heart and to thy self bow!
The ground you stand on is indeed Holy,
For Divinity resides in you, wholly.
