A special day,
Comes but once a year.
Heart shaped candies,
Flowers and cards,
Love rules the World.
Once, when young, long ago,
Sitting in a bar,
A fellow drinker told me
He was giving his wife leather goods
for Valentine's Day.
I said, nice,
A leather coat or a fine purse?
He replied - NO,
A Belt in the mouth and
A Boot in the rear.
