Helping people and animals
is an obsession I’ll never give up.
My arms are always open
to anyone or anything in distress
no matter who or what they are.
I may not be a rich man
except with goodwill
and I have an abundance of that.
To my mind every stranger I meet
is just a friend I do not know,
and every animal is a family member
although they don’t know that.
The world is a beautiful place
at least to my eyes it is
and it will always be.
