Before Morn - - - - - - - - - Forward march she feared As she saw a big storm gathering While crossing a river In a boat with a warrior The boat was small And the storm was severe Any moment they could be drowned As the storm riding roughshod over But calm and quiet The man was throughout As if nothing was happening And the woman was trembling Are you not afraid? She asked the man Are you dumb or a stone As death seemed certain The man laughed Took the sword out of its sheath And brought closer to her throat She looked puzzled and out of breath Are you not afraid? The man asked the woman Now she laughed And said why should I be afraid For I know you love me And the sword is in your hands This is exactly the case with our God The man said I know God loves us And the storm is in his hands Thus being restless instead Watch in silence thy wise way Bringing about results good or bad None could have predicted
