Bottled water is invariably
Branded with beatific images
Of deep blue, pristine lakes
And gleaming snow capped mountains.
Yet it seems that this
Faux green age worship
Is rather nonsensical
And patently paradoxical.
One just has to consider
The carbon dioxide
Emissions generated
From the making, filling
And shipping of millions
Of plastic bottles.
O how advertising effectively
Distracts from elementary logic!
