How many times must I forgive?
-Seven and seventy times, said Christ;
When we expect God’s forgiveness,
Should we not forgive our neighbors?
When we do acts of kindness small,
The Lord is kind and spares us rod;
When we are merciful to next,
Forgiveness comes with ease from God.
Show mercy unto others;
Expect God’s mercy, brothers;
If selfish you’re in heart and mind,
God’s forgiveness, you’ll never find.
