if you spent a whole day
watching the way we treat each other,
the way we ignore and turn our backs
on each other...
the way we let children starve,
we dropp bombs on families,
we throw people out of their houses
who have nowhere to go...
in the names of profit, patriotism,
greed, and lust for power...
the way we let our old people die alone,
we put our young in prisons,
we sell our daughters on street corners,
and we kill to convert!
just one day watching
would make it hard to believe
in God... and even harder
to believe in humanity!
