An Old Tightwad

The passing of the Seasons has left her looking gray She is one who has known a far better day She owns her own house and she drives her own car But for one tighter with money than she is one might have to go far Her favourite phrase ' money is my true friend' And she misses every dollar that she has to spend With teenage great grandchildren her husband dead for ten years But 'twas not for him that she shed any tears But at the cost of his burial she did feel heartache Though for him she did not even have a wake 'Tis said in assets and money she's a multi millionaire But with her descendants any she does not share Though in death she cannot take her wealth with her she does not have a will The one who wept at the cost of her husband's funeral bill.
