For As Long As I Can Do I Will Keep Rhyming On

My rhymes at the best of times are a bit rough And as a rhymer one might say not quite good enough But then suppose i was one born to rhyme But to discover that it did take me some time I am one who has penned a whole heap of stuff And for many years i have been a rhyming buff Addicted to rhyming of me one might say And rhymers are many in the World of today I used to daydream that i might be a poet A person well worthy of literary note But daydreams are just that and seldom come true And we receive from life what is only our due My best days in life in the forever gone But for as long as i can do i will keep rhyming on.
