Life Has It's Moments

Life has it's moments of laughter and life has it's moments of tears On the life's journey we are on there are sad and happy years Memories stir up human feelings and such feelings do run deep For people we loved and laughed with at their passing we do weep All you have are photographs and mental images of people you never more will see But true enough time is the healer even of the saddest memory And though the past has gone forever happy and sad memories remain Of people in life we loved dearly never to see in the living flesh again There can even be some sadness in memories of the happy times we had Yes our happiest memories can leave us feeling at times rather sad For life which is our greatest gift we only should feel glad We must accept how luck does treat us and learn to take the good with the bad Life has it's moments of laughter and life has it's moments of tears On the life's journey we are on there are sad and happy years.
