Our Memories Will Die With Us

Our memories will die with us when life from us has gone And though some may remember us life as usual will go on This is how it is and it was and how it will always be The one who swings the scythe of death is greater far than you or me Whatever our achievements are it is only true to say The journey of life we are on will end for us one day We are mere mortals after all and mortals are born to die And of this supposed life post bodily death ask one other than i We all do have our own beliefs many believe in a god in the sky To whose paradise post bodily death their souls to with wings will fly As for me this is a mystery something of the unknown But there is some truth in the saying of to each their own Our memories will die with us like all in the forever gone And though some may remember us life as usual will go on.
