The Workers

They worked so hard for their every take home pay But sadly they are not remembered today For helping to give us our present prosperity Yet their achievements has not earned them a chapter in the book of human history They are not seen as worthy of any claim to renown The working people the backbone of every city and town Sadly their fans in numbers are becoming more rare Yet without them there would not be any millionaire On the working women and men of Countries Worldwide We ought to look up to with a sense of pride The true quiet achievers of them one can say Yet they are the overlooked of the Human World of today The workers their achievements one cannot say are small But you will not see their names on a memorial wall And so few to be like them to does aspire Though they are the people we ought to admire.
