They Haven'T Changed Any

Many people I knew that in the flesh I never more see Are never that distant from my memory They live quite close to me I've come to realize And they visit me often when I visualize I know them as they were unwearied by time They haven't changed any they remain in their life's prime I have a beer with them we talk of football They are as they were they have not changed at all I visit the Hometown old friends I do meet Things haven't changed any in and near Millstreet So nice to be back home by Clara again In Spring when wildflowers bloom in the old fields after rain And nesting birds sing on the bushes and trees Their pleasant notes carrying in the freshening breeze.
