Hot Tears In My Eyes

Don't you see hot tears in my eyes,
Brothers, sisters, cousins, and friends? I'm weeping.
I'm not crying for myself. I'm crying
For you, may you be young or old,
Rich or poor, and black or white.
I do not cry by temperament.
I cry because you do not understand,
What's happening in the hearts of the others. Me,
However, I understand you and study you all the time.
I see you. I look at you and do not look at you.
I hear you. I hear your voices and perfectly
Comprehend you. Oh! No, I do not pretend to be God,
On the contrary, I am like you. I try to be simple, pious,
Strong, brave, and sincere. Sometimes I fail miserably,
And other times, I succeed like a genius, like a giant.
Don't you see the hot tears in my eyes?
The world is ill, dangerous, and becomes old, older on a daily basis.
Men are fighting for nothing. The children are crazy,
And their mothers are crying. These women understand everything
More than me. I listen carefully to their grievances.
I understand their miseries and hear their suffering.
It's an honor to cry with and for these adorable women,
Whose name I do not know, who are in my heart and my soul.
I cry for this humanity, who's dying by reciting my prayers.
