Time To Love Myself

These days, I am taking time My sweet time to love myself In my honest opinion, that’s not a crime To pamper, to love my dear self My hard-working body and my beautiful mind. I will stop looking behind I will concentrate on tomorrow And stay far away from grief, sorrow Regret, nostalgia and nonsense I am going to spray a bottle of incense Full of love, compassion, sweetness Good humor, gentleness, and kindness Everywhere that I go, on everything that I see I am going to shine, fly, and walk on the sea. No, I am not dreaming, not hallucinating And of course not on drugs. I am living Loving, and enjoying my life, my way. I am living. I am flying, flying away Without lifting my body, without hurting myself I am enjoying everything under the sun Everything under the moon. I am having fun I am truly loving and enjoying my dear self. I am not worrying about anybody Who neither loves me nor cares about me I am in love with Mother Nature I am working on myself, improving my posture These days, I am taking my sweet time To live, love, and enjoy; and that’s not a crime.
