My girlfriend said, 'Put on your mask, '
'If you care 'bout saving your life.'
For me maskings' an irksome task,
But I complied to avoid strife.
Then off to the concert we went
Where wearing masks were required due
To being such a packed event.
Next to me sat a lady who
Did not pay attention to me,
But I was nervous till the end
I'd be noticed by this lady,
Kept my head turned to my girlfriend.
For sure the mask did save my life,
Was not recognized by my wife.
