Freedom is gained by loss of life,
Why does this have to be?
If only to live together,
In peace and harmony.
A soldier puts his life on hold,
For lives worth fighting for,
Such courage and commitment,
He faces the wrath of war.
Hats off to our armed forces,
They truly are the best,
With dignity and honour,
They face the utmost test.
