Lost and lonely,
Like a young fledgling that's fallen from its nest,
Years pass by quickly,
I've lived through the best.
What is life?
When your loved ones pass away,
It's never the same,
You miss them forever and a day.
Why are we blessed with their loving souls?
To have them taken away,
But that's life so they say,
It doesn't stop us thinking about them everyday.
Death brings grief,
Grief does heal,
But still it doesn't change
The way I feel.
