Three Ways

There are three easy ways to tell is someone is special in your life… They appear the moment that person walks through your door: you laugh a little louder cry a little less and smile a whole lot more. We notice it when we're with family and friends… It is imbedded in the hug and the kiss… but, if you look closely into their eyes… tt's something you can't miss. It comes from all the little things you share that you've accumulated along the way… something as simple as going out for ice cream… to celebrate Mother's Day. We thought about this as we watched our family gather outside the ice cream store… how, when we're around them, we laugh a little louder cry a little less and smile a whole lot more. And although this is not a subject we readily discuss…. we like to think they feel the same way… when they come to visit us.
