A Secret Gift

Wondrous poems he writes
Nobody heeds them.
Beautiful songs he writes
Nobody sings them.
His talent is a gift within
Each new morn, pleasures begin.
A secret is locked within his heart
As peaceful moments start.
Great talent is a unique gift
Which brightens each day
A faithful friend to cheer his way.
Wondrous poems he writes
With music and song
In the closet they'll stay
All his life long.
