Clear As A Crystal

As clear as a shining crystal In the rays of the noonday sun The view is a scene of beauty Across the sparkling horizon. Goodbye to mundane happenings Farewell to the England I know. I am staying for awhile in Ireland Where the three-leaf clovers grow. But to dearest Britain I shall return Long before winter is here... To visit the Royal Pavilion And wander along Brighton Pier. As clear as a lustrous crystal Ships will sail by one by one, As I gaze o'er the sea at noonday From Palace Pier in the Autumn sun.
