Magic Link

Oh where, oh where has our love gone? a love we shared, a love that shone and made us happy through each day just like a bird, it has flown away. I cannot see and I cannot think now we have lost that magic link, the link that kept us heart to heart has broken ~ tearing us apart. I know not how, I know not why you left, and there was no goodbye. I thought your tender love for me would last beyond eternity. You will return in time I'm sure and we will be as we were before. The magic link will shine again and we will hear our love refrain. But come not back in winter snow when trees are bare and cold winds blow. Just come to me in early spring as tulips bloom and skylarks sing.
