I remember the first time I fell in love;
well not really love, more a childish crush!
Tossing and turning in my bed every night,
could never sleep ~ lost my appetite.
Dare not tell Mum, dare not tell Dad,
as they might have thought it something bad.
When the boy of the moment came by my way
I blushed and trembled; no words could I say.
He felt the same..he was only fifteen,
but a teenage crush is seldom 'evergreen'.
