Single - Like Brahms

Never downhearted am I although living alone; this is how I wish to be 'single' like Brahms ~ a bachelor was he. ... ... ... ... ... ... Not long ago I was married my days were beautiful then; year upon year of happiness shared with my own dear Ken. After he died, I had to decide which way I would go in my life, of this I was sure - closing the door I cared not to be a wife any more. Poetry is now an obsession of mine, I have the vocab and I have the time. Thousands of poems I've written to date; my name is already engraved on a plate! So never feel any sorrow for me... I am happy penning my poetry, and just like Brahms who had so much to give I will try to continue as long as I live.
