Stay Sweet Sixteen

Altın Yaprak
Opening my eyes to love in paradise;
I was only sixteen, the glow shines forever.
Dancing with you in the midnight blue
If only you knew how I still remember.
Oh speak to me do, for love is still new
A love that was true is no dying ember.
I'm sending to you, an historic haiku.
Yes, first of the few, written in September.
In life's varied scenes
In reality and dreams
Let's stay sweet sixteen.
