The Cross Of Calvary

Dear Jesus, we will love Thee more
as we enter Heaven's door,
when youthful eyes are in the past
to the Faith we will hold fast...
we shall see The Cross of Calvary.
Inner thoughts will surely be
on that Green Hill at Calvary
where doom and gloom fell on the air
because of a story beyond compare.
Dear Jesus, we will love Thee more
as we leave this golden shore
for as earthly light is overcast,
Your brighter light will shine at last...
we shall see the Cross of Calvary.
