Always close to my dear one,
forever out of danger
I could feel the strongest arm
taking care of me.
Knowing him for oh so long,
he was no casual stranger
time and time again I knew,
we two would always be.
Music we would turn down low
the lights we would turn dim ~
and time and time again
I felt my eyes beholding him.
And deep within my heart
I knew my life belonged to him.
