A Windmill In San Isidro

Altın Yaprak
In the Texas ranch country,
It turns in the sky,
Dwarfing the live oaks,
That stand by and sigh.
As the southern wind blows,
It's turning the blades,
And water gently flows,
As the day softly fades.
The big tanks are full,
It's early in the year,
And the water is cool,
For the cattle and deer.
A benevolent giant,
Bringing life to the land,
As he stands defiant,
Waving huge wooden hands.
4/27/10 29 palms ca.
