Liver Spots

Liver spots Have begun to appear On my sixty Year old hands. The hair on my head Is thinning But still auburn With some white. My beard is now Mostly white with Some grey And a little auburn. Some of my teeth Are gone others cracked But still I smile My knees hurt All the time now Braces and glucosomine Tablets are the norm. I don't eat as Much now and again As I used to Once upon a time. Oatmeal has replaced Eggs and bacon And Jimmy Dean Rooms to let fifty cents. I like Roger miller more But he doesn't make sausage. And yet I am happy Finally in my life I smile more. One day closer Each day to the grave And I no longer Worry. I laugh I cry openly now At long last I am at peace. 5/23/14 ALTON TEXAS
