What is freedom who really knows I once knew a man that knew He would climb on his Harley And he would roll. His long hair would flow behind His eyes would smile behind dark Oakleys The muscles on his forearms rippling On the handlebars. Riding the rolling thunder Like some ancient Norse God. His middle finger extended and Raised high showing his contempt For the finer things Of a civilized world That he cared nothing about. Nothing mattered to him. only the freedom of the open road Held his attention. A free spirit indeed though he was Is an understatement. Bigger than life he was known as The Animal. Yet a kinder more loving man you would Be hard pressed to find. A gentle giant who embraced the freedom His Harvey gave him, He would never have left this world Any other way. 11/18/14 Alton Texas
