The Enchantress

The Atlantic is cold, so very cold, like the heart of a deceitful lover. Who stole your heart, like so much gold, And cast it off from a jagged tower. Mercilous, callous, and cruel is she, A siren calling men to their demise. Laughing and singing she will be, Fetching them, with her blue, grey eyes. She leads them in with her demon lies, To her bosom she presses their eternal souls, And of a sudden, rain fills the skies, And whirlpools make the ocean roll. The Enchantress has won again, Another ship to a watery grave, Leaving behind only grief and pain, The Atlantic posesses, what she craves. The Atlantic is cold, so very cold, Like the heart of a deceitful lover. She loves strong young men, men so bold, And snuffs out lifes starting to flower. 5/23/10 29 palms ca.
