Believe It Or Not

Your life is only a myth
Something you can believe in
Or not
You create the story
As you go
Intentionally or unintentionally
While
Others can only glimpse the edges
Of who you are
Never really understanding
The fatal form of life
What it is
That peeks through
The curtain
A snapshot here
A snapshot there
Encompasses the scrapbook of
Relationship
And when you die
The myth lives on
In fragments here and there
Most will forget—
Yet someone dear
In quiet moments
Will hold you close
In mind and heart—
Believing
In who you were
And what you are
And call you back
From the other world
To take your place
In this cosmic dream
That all of us share
Together.
