Inferiority Kept

The less informed, Choose to perform impressions to make. Hoping feelings of inferiority kept, Are not revealed openly to have this seen. But remains concealed and stays hidden. Underneath. A disguising to hide one's true identity. One refuses to accept. Although known without announcing, Is their connection to a heritage shown. Feelings deep of insecurities to keep them, Are often exposed in disrespecting ways. Yet expected are those, To perceive others should understand... The difficulties they have had to face, Making adjustments. As if those they demean and criticize, Are living their lives to be offended. By the ones... Less informed. The ones... Choosing to perform impressions to make. The ones... Charading to imitate throughout their lives. Yet hoping to go undetected but protected, Are their feelings of inferiority. Kept to keep hidden. To believe others should tolerate, A thoughtlessness to ignore. Yet accept because of who they are. "You know how I can be. This is who I am." -I know this to notice it too often. And the 'me' I choose to be, Is not living to further tolerate... More of your ignorance. You and others may find acceptable. But the me I know to be, Think you are...ungrateful, thoughtless. And disrespectful.- "What? Your comments are appalling." -Good. I'm glad to hear that. I didn't suspect you to make such progress, So quickly. God works in mysterious ways.-
