Alone

Alone Do you really want to be alone? No one to talk to except on the phone. You say you don't need no one to share those empty nights By being alone you avoid arguments and fights. Just one load in the washing machine Just one dish you have to clean. No extra food that you must buy, except for the Cat or dog who's by your side. If your family members are all gone How the hell will you hold on? If you can't get to call 9-1-1 then you know you are done. Get out of your loneliness and misery A statistic you do not want to be. Get someone into your life that you know does care And with that person your life you'll share. Two hearts are better than none, and the arguments May not be fun. But it's better than being alone and at life you don't throw stones. Find someone who is compatible to you And what I say you'll find is true. © L. RAMS 072618
