Altın Yaprak
Green in the frozen snow,
paralyzed as in a blind panic,
as near death—
divine eyes clouding over;
prerequisites for white
to drift up and
downstream
the upcoming meltwater runoff—
pure spiritedness
to counteract thirst
in the quiescent seed of life.
