It Makes No Sense

Why do spiders live in cobwebs? It makes no sense that things are this complex. Don't be so quick to judge me. Earthquakes are followed by tsunami. How can you be both a scorpion and a rose? Or should I have said snake and flower? How can you be a serpent and a lamb? How can you be all things to all men? It makes no sense that things are this complex. My eyes roll back in my head, perplexed. How can you be a mother and a father? Be a cliff face and a clover bedcover. Who said to be careful of getting too close? Such words and talk as these are grandiose. 'But yes, I am both the ocean and the sky, The sea: the land upon which you'll die.'
