Manners.

Good manners sail on the Gulf Streamof mutual satisfaction: Bad manners sail in the Southern Ocean of cold indifference. If most people are well-mannered, all of society benefits. After getting called out for yawning and not listening to the Other, I now give peoplemy full attention in a one-on-one or on the phone,just as important. If the other person keeps asking me to repeat something, I get annoyed, although I may not show it. It was a different story in the classroomwhen pupils talked on, as if I knew nothing. I do know that I had some bad manners in youth, like ignoring people, even not answering their question sometimes, speaking loud, and not thinking things through in a group before I spoke out.
