Taking Ownership.

In my city, there are friendly shopkeepers, some of whom read the Koran at work, and arefair and even complimentary to customers. There are sales and discounts everywhere you look. It is a different story in real estate, either renting an apartment or buying a house. 'Market rents' mean high rents; only once has there been a rent freeze in New Zealand. Tenants want a real home not a temporary one but it is not easyto save for a deposit. The wealthy profit from free-market rents, which always work in their favour. The words 'landlord' and 'tenant' remind me of the Middle Ages. - 15 November,2014.
