She was a fountain Vibrant with life's Fresh energy, a girl Of fifteen, a teenager. She wanted to be river, To get united with the sea. There was one famous line From Shakti Chottopadhay's poem, 'If I be a river..........' In her diary. She was a symbol of protest. A girl of fifteen how could She know, beasts don't know The language of poem, protest? She roared 'cause they alleged Her father on a false allegation. The two-legged animals forced Her to spit and lick it. Then they abducted the girl. The hellish beasts didn't want Her stay in this world anymore. They scratched and bit her, Raped and killed. Her body was found beside The rail-line, naked Without a piece of cloth. She wanted to be river, She was a fountain. Her dead body is now burning Beside the bank of a river. She was fifteen, She wanted to be a river!
