Do Not Cry

When I die I don't want you to cry, I don't want your tears From memories of forgotten years. I don't want you to bring me any flowers With sadness or regrets for hours I don't want you to visit me with grief By car or plane in sadness to bring a wreath. If you love me that much If your soul and heart I did touch Then what are you waiting for You know where's my home and my door. Give me those flowers now Instead on my grave which you did vow, Come soon and visit me So, while living you I can see. Those flowers then I don't want you to carry Just for others to read or see in my obituary I hope that might be a very long wait Until God Almighty chooses my fate. I want to see the flowers beauty Which is their earthly duty, Please bring them so I can hold on Please! Don't wait until I am gone. Randy L. McClave
