Eaten Words

Watch the words that you speak Better hope that you get the reaction that you seek, But first coat them with a little sugar and spice And a filling that is nice. Make sure that they are delicious looking Especially after you've finished your cooking, And make sure they are presented in a pleasant atmosphere Maybe with a glass of beer. Remember your words are like the food you cook People always take a second look, And sometimes when you give your words a turn They then just burn. Before you put your words onto a plate Before you put them in your mind to bake, Make sure that your words are all kinda sweet Because, they might be easier for you to later eat. Randy L. McClave
