I Am Single!

I am single! Because no-one takes relationships seriously anymore, They take it as a game to cheat and mingle And then to go to another person's door. I am treated like the game of catch, I am seemed always to chase, and then to fetch. I am single! Because people would rather cheat than to work it out, Then they would just lie and mingle Then take a different route. They are the true hypocrite, They only love and care for there own need and benefit. I am single! Because I know that people will lie and disappoint, They later will sit and mingle Unto their own sins they will always anoint. I will not ever disappoint or lie, You can always see that truth in my eye. I am single! Because, I hate ending up looking stupid, Your friends can lie and mingle I honestly thought that I was sent to you by cupid. You alone and our future was my goals, Not parties, or that of wanting of other souls. I am single! Because trust is not a foreign word to me, You can read books and mingle Besides the definition, there is my picture in the dictionary. In my partner I will always have that trust, And like gold it will never fadeaway or rust. I am single! Because chasing anyone is just a game, Everyone gasps and mingle But, a while back I stopped playing that sport I did proclaim. If you don't want to be honest and spiritually part of my life, I don't need those childish games or the strife. Randy L. McClave
