Myths

I believed in wishing upon a Star And also upon a four leaf clover, Wishing upon blown dandelions was called bizarre But, those invocations I did over and over. I once believed in the Easter bunny As well I did in Santa Claus, And the tooth fairy always gave me money I believed in them with cheers and applause. I knew that they all had existed They were here to put happiness and joy in the heart, A believing and faithful person I am known and listed Belief and faith from me would never depart. I believed in casting a penny into a well And never to step on a sidewalk's crack, In forests I believed fairies and unicorns still dwell And if I have gave a promise I would never take it back. I once believed deeply in my girlfriend Deeper and stronger than any belief I can recall, But, then I found out sadly in the end She was the biggest myth, and lie of all. Randy L. McClave
