On The Couch

Whenever she spent the night at my house And not in the genre of a lonely spouse, Or just whenever she was a grouch I ended up always sleeping on the couch. Whenever her children came to spend the night Her pure angels which always brought her sheer delight, But, a no relationship with me to them she must vouch So, I ended up always sleeping on the couch. My couch is a sanctuary for just one person to sleep It is where your dignity and your honor you can keep, On the side of the sofa there is also a magazine pouch So, I didn't mind at all sleeping on the couch. Whenever she was angry, which was most of the time Always accusing others, but not herself of a crime, And whenever to her I wouldn't plead or crouch I always ended up sleeping on the couch. They say not to go to bed angry which I don't But, her going to bed happy she can't and won't, Whenever she curses or screams, "ouch" I always ended up sleeping on the couch. To sleep with her I did it for peace and leisure I also slept with her for excitement and pleasure, But, unlike her current boyfriend I am no slouch I am just as happy and content sleeping on the couch.
