Pushing Me Away

if you push me away This I promise I make and I will say, It's a promise and not a plea But, you won't find me where you left me. I guarantee you I will move on Just like a chess pawn, I will always move forward For true happiness I look toward. My heart and faith is indeed large It's the size of an ocean barge, I want to help and love someone truly And always help and love them newly. But, no matter of my heart size One day I did finally did realize, It's not big enough to deal with people who's not lenient Who decide to love me when for them it's convenient. Randy L. McClave
