Remember when she left you
And you didn't know what to say or do,
And she shamefully put you at blame
When the sadness and the heartache came.
Then you believed her too.
Remember when she said you could do no better
And she said it all in a letter,
And then she put you at fault
Then in your wounds she rubbed more salt.
She made you feel like a debtor.
Remember where you are right now
You are treated better than the metaphorical cow,
You have risen and have achieved
No more have you grieved.
Now the fields of joy and happiness you plough.
Remember where you were way back then
And how she ignored you and treated you like sin,
You were used and then taken advantage of
All because you were in love.
Would you really want that life once again.
