The Beloved Aunt

Some call her mother and grandmother Others called her cousin and Aunt, Some came to sadly wish her goodbye But, with tears in my eyes, I can't. I still think of all the good times Honestly and happily I never remember no bad, She has always brought joy into the heart With her smile, she always chased away the bad. On Earth her job has finally been finished As the farmer who has toiled and finally gone to rest, God is always glorified and watching Pain and suffering to all, is just a test. The gardens have now all been planted The weeds in the fields have been plowed, New flowers will now be grown In Heaven, like all farmers she now is cheerfully allowed. Randy L. McClave
