This Coming Year

Soon, I'll enter a New Year with a clear mind and heart As this Year is about to end, a new one is ready to start, This of course might be yours or my very last year So, I don't want to start it off with regret or even one fear. If you owe me something, just forget all about it If you wronged me or cheated on me, you I do acquit, A New Year is almost here and it's about ready to begin So, please let's forget all about the past debts and sin. If you had wronged me, I'm all good it's a lesson I learned If you're angry with me, you've won now for you I am concerned, And if we're not speaking, it's alright I still wish you well Why we aren't speaking, you know what I'm going to forget the tale. If you had lied and/ or cheated, remember that's now part of the past Let it stay in last year where we'll forget about it so it won't last, If you feel or believe that I have wronged you, to you I do apologize It wasn't intentional, I hope and pray now that you will realize. I am very grateful for every experience that I had received And all the wonders and smiles while not trying to be deceived, Life is too short for stored up anger and/ or for hate So, let us start this coming New Year off with a clean slate. I'm not holding onto grudges or onto worries, stress or pain The soul it does destroy, so I flushed them all down the drain, I am forgiving all this pst year with love and hope I'm expressing I wish you too will do the same, so not to block a future blessing. Let this coming year, be a year of joyfulness and peace With smiles and a full caring heart hoping that it will never cease, Let's make this coming year a year of smiles and a happy living So, let's make this coming year a positive one and a season of forgiving.
