Why Do You Love Him More Than Me?

Why does God love you more than me I occasionally have that thought, I say my prayers, I help the needy and the poor And of course, you do not. You do not ever go to church And you say that no power is higher, You never listen or follow God's holy teachings And you don't believe in Hell's judgement fire. You always walk around in the finest clothes While others walk around in rags, They don't have a penny to their name While you keep yours hidden in money bags. The poor and the needy they always pray to God While you quote,2 Thessalonians by Apostle Paul, You hate all immigrants, also you're a racist and a bigot I thought God our father, loved us one and all. You don't care for anyone, but only you As I watch a blind man with a can way over there, You pass him by with a smirk on your face And he still blesses you, with a prayer. I see the poor and the starving everywhere Some so very devout, but very sick and slim, You just laugh and belch as you leave a tip for your meal But, they and not you to God will sing a hymn. You lie and you cheat and you have your affairs While for God, a woman saves her chastity, Then you drink and you get drunk and you rape her And you blame it all on the Devil, the audacity. So, many people seem to have nothing While, so many others seem to have it all and so much more, I constantly wonder were the just and the fairness is Did I, or the needy and or the sick made God our father sore. I look up at heaven with tears in my eyes As though begging and asking with a plea, I point out you, for your thoughts and treatment of others "God! Why do love him more than me"? Randy L. McClave
